Getting pupils to produce a quality extended piece of writing takes more than just telling them to write. These KS2 writing units take pupils through the full journey — from reading and analysing a text type, through sentence-level work, and into their own extended writing. Units run across approximately 10–15 lessons and are available for Years 3 and 4 and Years 5 and 6, covering newspaper reports, information texts, explanation texts, and persuasive writing. Everything is differentiated and ready to teach.
